Catherine Carlton
President/Director
A former Mayor and Council Member for the City of Menlo Park, Catherine has lived in and run companies in Asia, Europe and North America and South America. Catherine has led and hosted cultural and business exchange delegations to India, China, Japan and the UK. Catherine now serves as a mentor for the University of Southern California Marshall Innovation Incubator, and sits on the boards of various government entities, businesses and nonprofits. Catherine has an MBA with Honors from Cass Business School of the University of London, a Marketing MA from the University of Westminster, and a BA in Rhetoric and Public Communications from Tulane University. She is a wife and the mother of two teens, a dog, a parrot and a very silly rabbit. She spent a year in the Amazon jungle working with parrots, and is passionate about animals and the environment.
BioAnna Enerio
Secretary/Director
With 20 years of tech marketing experience for B2C and B2B companies, Anna has built teams for startups and large enterprise companies focusing on product marketing, brand, digital, public relations and content. She has held leadership positions at various companies such as Xerox PARC, SanDisk and Kodak, both in Silicon Valley and abroad. Her most recent role is leading all marketing efforts for Frequence, Inc. in Mountain View. She holds a bachelor’s in international business from Villanova University and a MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. Volunteering is an important passion for her and she has helped several nonprofits including Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, Second Harvest and the Family Giving Tree. She looks forward to creating a cross-cultural exchange for Menlo Park with other countries.
BioRoger Royse
Director
Roger Royse is a partner in the Palo Alto office of Haynes and Boone, LLP and practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, domestic and international tax, mergers and acquisitions, and fund formation. He works with companies ranging from newly formed tech startups to publicly traded multinationals in a variety of industries. Roger is a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel and former chair of several committees of the American Bar Association Sections of Business Law and Taxation. Roger has been an instructor or professor of legal, tax and business topics for the Center for International Studies (Salzburg, Austria), Golden Gate University School of Law and Stanford Continuing Studies. Roger is also a board member of Asian, Inc., which empowers Asian Americans and socioeconomic minority communities at large by reducing dependencies that block their access to opportunities in business development, housing and financial education. He also serves as a member of the City of Menlo Park Finance and Audit Committee.
BioBrian Gilmer
Director
Brian was born and raised in Menlo Park and has seen the city change dramatically over the years. He has worked for many technology companies, including cc:Mail which was founded in Menlo Park, as a quality assurance professional. Besides working in tech, Brian has traveled the world extensively both for business and personal enjoyment. Brian spent 27 months as a Peace Corps volunteer in Armenia working with non-governmental organizations and small businesses to build community services and help the people of Armenia. Brian currently lives in the same neighborhood where he grew up in Menlo Park with his wife and two young children.
